Pet gripe of the day...

I've been expecting a package from overseas and the lack of updates on tracking status is incredible between the USPS and US customs. Hard to believe in the IOT era that a tracked item can sit for 12 days in limbo because US customs does not track items entering or leaving, and provides no indication of current backlog or processing times.

So basically USPS indicates it left for customs, but customs will not acknowledge they have it and only states that it can be up to 45 days to process and they have no way to track or locate an item.

Patience is an overrated virtue.

My IT team is having a holiday dinner tonight and I wasn't invited because I'm a contractor...the hr lady sent me an invite but then recalled it saying it is only for full time employees.

That is the policy where I work too... and the administrative assistants that actually planned the party were contractors and not allowed to attend!
