CEL P2097

Little backstory. I have Gruppe-S Catless UEL header and overripe, JDL ultra quiet high flow front pipe, and Corsa Cat-back. Also Stage 2 93 OFT tune. Everything was runnin fine with this set up.

A couple months back I added a Perrin inlet tube, and freshly oiled K&N air filter. Around this time I started throwing P219a. It would come and go every tank or two of gas. Checked all seals around airbox and O2 sensor. Everything seemed good. Got some MAF cleaner and that seemed to do the trick.

Now I started throwing CEL P2097. My LTFT is 2.34 % at idle to about 6.25% when accelerating.Which I guess seems to be "acceptable" range? Also was under the car about a month ago changing diff and tranny fluid and checked for exhaust leaks. Looks like there may be some near the muffler (coupler loosened up is all) but that shouldn't be the cause of my code.

What should I check for next in the diagnosis progress?

Thanks in Advance

P2097 is coming from your post cat heated oxygen sensor. The ECU is doing a second check on the oxygen level in the exhaust to adjust LTFT once you are in closed loop. The code is triggered when it detects continuous o2 readings higher than expected. I would check for leaks near or at the sensor also. I would wait and see if the code comes back.

I rechecked the O2 sensor this morning. And was under the car within the last month. Did not see any leaks near the O2 sensor. I'm perplexed.
