Was an Indian guy with a Russian accent located in Korea. He said he drives a Man vehicle and I see lots of posts by people that drive them on here so figured he was trustworthy. Usually they are selling id papers or pills but this guy is smart and found a niche business cleaning computer from home.

Don't know what his name was but he must hate canned meat since he kept saying that his post had nothing to do with it.

I do a good bit of driving for a side job, I'm more worried about stuff that could go out suddenly, but because of wear and tear... if that makes sense. Like the Throw out bearing.. is that something that just.. goes out? Or can you feel it starting to fail?

TLR I don't want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere... anything special around 30k miles that needs to be looked at?

You're worrying way too much way too early. Oil/filter change at recommended intervals. Air filter's a good idea. Brake fluid at 30K (although, in real life, even my dealership said it wasn't really necessary). Check fluid levels and tire pressure/tread wear. 30K, for all intents and purposes, is a new car. It's the newest car I've owned in 20 years. Up until buying my 2013 Fr-S last year (w/ 23K on it), my "newest" car was a 2006 w/ 98K and my other cars were MUCH older w/ twice as many miles on them. I drove a '99 Mercedes w/ over 200K on it from central NY state to Meat Cove (look it up) and back loaded up w/ camping gear and my family. And you're worried about breaking down in a car that's a few years old w/ 30K on it? Please.. consider yourself reassured.

I don't know why, but when it comes to my wife's car or mine I panic. Thanks for the info, I think $200-300 is doable with my little bit of Christmas bonus I'm getting.

They once told me I had a torn boot that I then asked that they show me before agreeing to fix it. I think they had already replaced it without asking me because the one they showed me was pristine. I then refused the service since I hadn't signed anything authorizing them to do that, and they just left it on.
