That looks infinitely better than my front tires. Mind sharing your alignment settings? Or at least front camber?

I literally eyeballed it at the track. My normal alignment shop would have a heart attack if they knew what I did, but they couldn't squeeze me in. I got the car back Thursday evening, installed an oil cooler, changed all the fluids, and headed out to the track. Ghetto alignment at the track friday (eyeballed), installed pads, flushed brake fluid, then drive 6 hours to another track Saturday for 86CUP...

My guess would be around -3.5 to -4 camber. Toe was eyeballed to 0, as was toe. Friday was used as a shakedown to determine "more or less" with alignment and pressures for Saturday. The picture is from the end of Saturday. This was done with a floor jack, a few wrenches, and a set of allen keys, and a tape measure.

This is just temporary.

I believe this is the most evenly chunked set of stock tires I've seen.

Any pics of how the car looks with stock wheels and that much camber? I am planning to buy a 2nd set of camber bolts and max out the front camber. Just hoping it doesn't look terribly sunk in.

I gotta dig it out of the phone, but "hellasunk".

I have more camber than can be managed with camber bolts; I have two bolts and a plate on each front.

Lol OK thanks, worst case I know it looks "purposeful", best case I convince my wife that it looks horrendous and I need new wheels.

Any insight at all from this weekend?

How'd eyeballing the camber work out for you?

I'm not an expert, but it was "close enough" for what I could do on short notice.

with a 6k/6k damper setup, by slightly underdamping the rear, I could throttle steer through corners at will with weight transfer.

Now, granted, I'm on a ceramic coated Ace A/350 header, and E85, so I do have quite a bit more power than a stock car, but as long as I was not in terminal understeer, I could actually balance the car as I saw fit.

This was all with the stock tire; with a stickier/wider tire setup, I would not be able to rotate the car with just the throttle.

Sorry if you've posted this before but pedal dance works the same on the '17?

Edit: I'd suggest updating the pedal dance thread with whatever info you have when you're ready.

Pretty sure there's no good reason to do the pedal dance on a 2017 MT model as simply holding the traction control button for 3 seconds turns off the brake LSD function.

The pedal dance is still needed.

Good to know, i was under the impression that it wasnt needed for the 2017 either. Even with the new "full off" mode, does the emergency brake booster
feature still kick in while under trail braking?

I guess Beastronix will still be needed.

Cornering? So is there any way to set the twins up to have more sensitive rotation, even with proper sticky rubber. So if i lift, or brush the brake, the cars nose will show me that it is listening. I love corner entry on this car, but mid corner I now know (thanks to you btw, ignorance was bliss) that the car is stubborn on rotation.

That part of the setup, I suspect, will be identical to the 13-16. I haven't gotten that far... yet....
