Haha... I did but only Mrs. Ultra heard me.

People get excited when they have something to add. I do it all the time. Then after I figure out how late I am to the party, I go back and edit my post.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I've only had my car for about a year and a half now, dumped some money into cosmetics, but not a lot,and now I can't decide if I want to start putting money into performance items.Everything is going to hinge on what and if a redesinged STI looks like for 2018.If its something I like, bye bye FR-S.

Haha, I did saw his answer, but I though he didn't really answer the question as to why the gear is not displayed. He only said there is no sensor and it's calculated. Some people may not understand why the fact that it's calculated mean it doesn't work when clutch is pressed.

As a side note, since there is a sensor for the clutch, it would be possible to keep the same gear displayed when the clutch is pressed until it's released, but that would mean the during a shift the previous gear would be displayed until the clutch is released, which could cause more confusion to some people.

The Door storage compartment is where I keep my gun.

You mean three times right? That's the vehicle finder setting.

If it looks close to this, then I'll be excited. The subtle changes to the front end go a long way.

As much as an STI is great, i have 2 objections:
1. It uses an outdated engine. I know the WRX has an FA, and it produces not more power, but better placed power.
2. As with all sportier models, what if i want to change/upgrade things? Why spend the money getting all the STI parts pre installed, just to replace them? I'd rather get a WRX and toss in whatever STI parts i want.

I never did like super ugly sedans and wagons with wings and mud flaps. What you young kids think is cool is way different than my time. To each his own.
