1995 Buick Skylark. The car leaked coolant from everywhere. I'd go through five gallons of anti-freeze/distilled water every single week. I probably poisoned half the animals in my town with all that sweet coolant.

1996 Acura Integra LS-Special 4 door hardtop. Drove the piss out of it good times!

Got rear ended and it never handled the same again even after the 8 grand repair job thru insurance. Acura discontinued the 4 door after 1996 in Canada.

1993 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Drove it around the farm off-roading it on the hill that my grandma lived on, or Tearing around the fields in it listening to Disturbed and Godsmack through a portable cd player with a tape deck adapter. Ha ha what a blast. Also rode a Honda C70 Passport, it's my dream to lose 100lbs and buy another one to experience that again.

i don't really know. I guess my first first car was a 1986? Saab 9000. Fun stuff, especially when the rear end decided it wanted to pretend the car was rear wheel drive. No thanks.

Or maybe the 94 Ford Taurus SHO. Fun car, but a pig. No thanks.

My Saab Viggen? That car rocked, but holy crap torque steer. I remember one time going out onto a highway and flooring it at night and all of a sudden just being in the third lane over. The wheels were total garbage.

I don't want any of them. I'll take my BRZ, and my Yaris because no one wants to buy it and it is still fun.

My first was a 2003 Jeep Wrangler (yes very different to my second car lol)

Lucky enough to be able to say that my dad still has it. He wants to keep my first car forever since he kicks himself for not keeping his.

LOL I read some of these and think to myself "but that is a new car" then realize that a 1995 Wizzbanger is actually 21 years old now!

I was thinking along the same lines .........didn't anybody except me, get an old car as their first car ......

Then I realized my 1948 Chev was only about 10 years old when I got it.....

Kind of miss, but not really. '91 Acura Integra GS...was an Integra, but the heaviest. Originally was an automatic, when the transmission failed I converted it to manual... it's the car I learned to work on with my dad and got me into being a car guy. IF I were to get another Integra (Had 2, GS then a '90 RS...which I got for my brother and we shared) it would be a Type R (too expensive though, they are getting REALLY high in price), but then I remember what I don't like about FWD Honda's and feel no inclination to miss it when I have the FR-S, which is the sports car I've always wanted (other than the stupid boxer motor). If the FR-S didn't exist, another Integra would have been a high probability...

My old '90 RS...the funnest car ever until the FR-S came out (believe it or not I had the Integra setup more tailhappy than a 2013-2014 FR-S):

And I agree, it's more the memories than the actual car....I remember driving through a storm in Colorado with my brother while on vacation in the '90 RS to get to the track in Pueblo we rented for 1/2 day, on Hankook R-S2's and in near zero visibility with a 'twitchy' setup vehicle in a snowstorm early in the morning going down a mountain. Oh my how did we survive without electronic traction and stability control!! It's called human driver traction/stability control and works quite well...LOL

Mazda 1300 station wagon. It was a delivery wagon with the front passenger seat removed to make more room. It was not uncommon for me to have 7 passengers in the car; two sitting on the floor where the seat used to be, 3 across the back seat and two in the rear cargo space. It was an absolute barge trying to drive with that much weight. Having said that in the wet with just myself it had beautiful 2nd and 3rd gear over-steer. I learnt a lot driving that thing. ABS? What's that?

Admittedly after my stint in it there wasn't a straight panel left on it from meeting up with too many trees while pretending to be a rally basher.

My first car was an 86 Saab 900s, similar to below.

Its saving grace was that it was a manual shift. Actually kinda quick too, for what it was.

Not mine but just like it in the mid 70s. Have never found a surviving picture of it although there must be one someplace.
I had a white 283 hardtop SS. That hydrometric 2 speed would go forever it seemed. Cool car.
