keep it clean chaps .. to be completely honest i'm no JDM nut and i actually think *some* of what you would you call "RICER" mods/parts have possitive aspects/looks.

No reason to insult other peoples personal preference... I couldn't give a shit if the guy next to me doesn't approve of my car as long as i'm happy with it right?

more often then not you end up adding weight on modern cars rather than reducing it :P mainly because some people (wont mention names) dont use the correct amount of resin, making the part unnecessarily heavy. and you would be surprised (or not?) how many dont make parts with vacuum/clave, meaning again overweight parts that arent strong and are more brittle..
also a vented bonnet does not ALWAYS provide a positive airflow/cooling (also not legal, but thats a different story)

that aside, apart from the offset plates (i hate offset anything on a car lol), those kits look awesome (although more than likely nonfunctional haha)

body kits are fine in moderation. every picture posted so far that you guys are calling 'porn' is just some 14 year old with photoshop giving himself a wetdream about a car he will never drive.

vented bonnets and superfluous carbon fibre are going to get you plenty of attention from the cops, tart up the car and do nothing to improve your performance.

Its modified, sure, but its got stuff that actually does something besides make 15yr old boys think its fast.
I think my 180 has enough rice to go around :P

That said, the purpose is cos it needs to stand out on the track, it is fun with the looks on the street tho haha.

Either way, while I think the pics in this thread are mostly over the top, I very much doubt your going to see anyone on this site building a widebody JGTC style car, but mentally taking styling cues from that design is most likely why people are liking them. i am sure we will see little bits from all the designs in this thread find their way onto the end product..
