We did initially try 10kg springs on front and rear. We found that with the 10kg front springs the brakes would lock up over bumps, and that there was too much understeer. That is when we dropped down to 8kg front springs.

Having the rear springs harder than the front is fine at the moment - the car doesn't have enough power to have excessive wheel spin out of the corners. Once the turbo kit is fitted, we may to go to softer rear springs to curb smokey tailouts out of the corners.

Next up:

We will be fitting a good LSD and then will see what wheelspin is like on corner exits. This will impact what rear spring rates we will decide on as well.

ahh yes.. the trademark subaru mod! silicon inlet.. and at least on these its not a 2 hour fist fight with the inlet manifold like it is on the EJ20 or EJ25 turbos.

Why do you insist upon spreading misinformation.?

The car is not 50/50 weight distribution from the factory.

Your correct, it's 52 front/48 rear on our corner weights - with no driver. With driver, it was 50.6/49.4.

Nice.

Not to be rude, but how much did your driver weigh?
