Is it PLK Auto Sales?

In Japan the car has no model badges at all except the "86" piston badges on the fenders, and it's a Toyota 86, not a GT86.

Toyota logos on the nose and rear and nothing else- not even the word "Toyota".
The GT86 is an European or Australians trim level badge to the best of my knowledge.

That is correct.

I did see a "TRD" logo on the back of a lowered, tuned 86 (with a ginormous wing) in Japan last week, but of the half-dozen or more 86's I saw over 10 days none had anything other than the piston badges (and the toyota cowboy hats at each end)

I did pass up a sweet set of LED backlit piston badges at the Super Autobacs though

Look for reviews on Google. People love to bitch on the internet. They may be right about waiting though. The newly refreshed model is still shipping out, more people will be trading in and buying new ones, presumably giving you more options and driving down the cost
