These numbers are available the day the car is placed in the system. No ifs or buts.

It's actually about 7 hours build time on the line. There would be baking time for the paint. I'd be surprised if the car sat on the line any more than 24 hours start to finish.

I'm using Volkswagen Golf V as a reference. It was known as the slowest sub $50k car to build at 14 hours. Double the time it took to build a Ford Focus.

Really? Who told you this? I thought they'd be able to do it in < 1 day (off the line), then maybe another < 1 day max for QA/testing whatever...

I was told same thing - apparently has something to do with Toyota WA being a different distributor to Toyota Australia (TMCA).
You'll just have to ring regularly for updates as I've been doing.
Apparently my car went in to build yesterday.

Wow! nice find...

at 12:00 you see a BR-Z come off the line, and right behind it is an 86... I thought they'd be built in separate shifts... very interesting.

Passed out at the computer around midnight watching this and had beautiful dreams of a fantastic landscape with lots of cherry blossoms, a twisting mountain road, sweet birdsong in serenity and the the ear splitting roar of a brz and 86 at full throttle, each trying to better the other but unable to swap positions and ending up side by side in a dance of equality at the top. Ahhh.....

I made purchase for my car approximately 2 days ago, anyone (preferable a dealer) knows how long it takes for web tracking to be provided?

My dealer has stated that it is the A01 status or something and he wont be able to provide it yet.

seeing forums around 1-2 weeks
i called on monday to find out my stock number!
you should do to next week monday
get them to give you the stock number
if they dont have it that means they have not ordered your car
and by the look of things
if they dont order your car before july you would be looking at december -jan delivery :/
