Yes I sent them. Maybe a week for them to receive and a week to comeback? I don't remember haha. You can also purchase oem knuckles and have it sent to their shop to have them modify if you don't have the ability to drive another car while it's on stands.

My FR-S on the right, new BRZ on the left. Both sad and exciting. Switching from MT FR-S to AT BRZ due to chronic foot injury on my clutch foot.

I'm sorry for your injury, but it's an ironclad reason to need an automatic. Congratulations on your purchase. It's gorgeous.

Ummmm just wanting one is an ironclad reason for getting an automatic isn't it?

Of course, but my small jest was about the gallons of ink we have all read claiming that an auto transmission in this car is not respectable, go buy a Buick instead, a stick shift is 90% of the fun, and other bogus ways to devalue one's choices about his own car. Otherwise, why explain the reason at all?

For some reason, I am reminded of my uncle's Dodge of 1948 or so which was equipped with a fluid coupling behind the three-speed gear box. He demonstrated how he could pull away from a stoplight in third gear without touching the shift or the clutch. Naturally it took all day to reach speed but, being a little kid, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Nice to hear your voice, T.
