I am speculating something clicked and he realized he was spending more than an uhealthy amount of time here. His last post indicated he was going to take a beak or end up getting banned. Perhaps Ed Flanders had reached his niceness limit.
Perhaps he got tired of the celebrity status he has recently received here for his big presence on this forum. I don't think anyone here can fill his shoes, sorry guys. Perhaps he will return here refreshed. See what happens when you put a guy with a big personality in a cubicle all day!

THere's a guy in my office who gets that comparison all the time. I believe he is a early to mid 40's evangelical virgin. That's totally screwed.
