Bout time you showed up Dimman, you missed almost all day today!

I voted Mk I; I prefer the back end, and I like the way it sits and looks. Put the MK II wheels on it, find a nice "middle ground" for the front and round out the fenders cause that 1" flat piece is... strange.

Like Nikos said though, it will probably a nice blend of the two, something in-between. And that wouldn't be a bad thing, theres strengths to both cars and merging them wouldn't be horrible if they did it right -- and with the direction they are going and how things look now I don't think Toyota is going to really mess it up.

I think you missed my posts through the mass of noobs'. I was actually late for work this morning because of the pics. Heh.

Pet peeve of concepts is when designers make the proportions of the cars so that they only look good with MASSIVE wheels. Fenders of the Mk II have that effect, I think. The 18's look pretty small on this car.

I'd like Concept II more if it didn't have so much carbon-fibre "bling bling".

i like mk2 and id like it better if it was released in a different colour. in the black the ass looks too big, but thats cus the difuzer is also dark.. if it was lets say white or red than you could see more detail and would looks perfect

II for me, the spoiler complements the car's aesthetics.

I somewhat I like the concept II's look but.. the First concept I like more. CII's rear looks like the Toyota Solara's rear. ._.

II

Love the longer nose, the aggressive front, and the rear deck lid spoiler. Like the new rear slightly better than the old, but both were fine to me.

Ambivalent to the fender vents, but really the only thing I am not 100% crazy about.

the II.

i think the main gripe people have with it is the LED (i too am not a fan), the CF and the back. what you guys have to remember is that this is the concept so its quite obvious those things wont be there. the back is something that you have to slowly take in IMO.

when the first render came out yesterday i wasnt too happy, once the actual pictures came out i looked them over for several minutes, i had many of the same concerns upon first impression. but the more i looked at the lines and contours the more striking the car became.

delete the LEDs and consider a toned down diffuser for the rear and we really have something.

i didnt think too much of the MK1 when it first came out either, i was just happy with the performance aspects of the car, but the stylings soon grew on me. i think the same will be the case with this version for other people. great job toyota, and please keep that T on the hood when you bring it stateside!

It's the seams in the fenders. They gotta go.

Mark I + for me.

Basically, Mark II is also growing on me, but the RR lamps on mark I is much more cohesive...

today I actually saw an RX-7 and an RX-8 on the road, and the Mark I has similar shape with RX-7 in terms of rear lamps styling.... whilst the mark II resembles the RX-8 rear end more.... hmmp.
