Well, you get a touchscreen vs "no, do it THIS way you stupid idiot" - I'd vote Surface. I thought I'd never use a touchscreen on a laptop but I now miss it when it's not there.

Plus, Apple just does everything wrong and doesn't let you fix it, while making you feel like YOU are the problem because you spent too much. Classic mysanthrope.

Well, I had a stressful day .......

It all started when our daughter had to drop the 3 granddaughters off early because she had an early meeting.

I damn near got a speeding ticket getting two of the granddaughters to school on time.

mrs humfrz volunteered to spend most of the afternoon at school for a granddaughters school party (better her than me, I thought ..... although her teacher is a cutie .....

).

That left me with the 3 month old. So, I fed her 6 oz.of formula, after which she usually takes a 2 hour nap. Would she go to sleep for me ..? NOOOOO!
It was play time with pa-pa ......

So much for MY nap .....

Then I smelled something ...... when I opened up the diaper ....... there it was ...... been a while since I changed a poopy diaper ...... almost forgot what they smelled like....

Oh yes, it had squirted out past the form fitted diaper ...... past the diaper retaining thing and all over the play suit.

OK, cleaned her up, found some clean clothes, replaced the diaper and snapped her up.

Anyone still with me ..... ??

Do you fathers remember the old days ...... fold the diaper, wrap it around the baby, put a safety pin in both corners ...... DONE ....... right!

Not today..... the diaper "system" has all these snaps everywhere front, back and down the sides.

Come to find out, later, that I had put it on backwards ......

OK, ma-ma returns from the school and brought home the wrong bag of stuff (long story) soooo ....... I had to run the bag of candy up to school ...... further delaying my nap ......

By this time it's time to go pick up the other two granddaughters from school.

So, folks, that was my day ......

Ubuntu on a laptop FTW. Scripted it so it reads each of your posts in a different voice.
