This is the last thing holding me back is I don't want to deal with wheelspin anytime I give it some extra throttle. Not worried about the PSS in the summer but on 215 winter tires I can imagine it breaking free quite a bit.

On my rain tires (nitto invos). 215 winters going on very soon, I will let you know how it goes

Are you running Windows 8 or 10? They should have a built-in setting on the OS to turn on or off the Wi-Fi adapter.
