In related news.... my wife tells me that she was on the way home in the Camaro (V6 Auto... she's a girl....) a WRX was doing fly bys and she double tapped the gas (that drops 2 cogs) and punched it and left the guy in her dust.
Yeah, she's a keeper

was following a red porsche cayman gts...the guy actually knew how to drive his car
i was able to keep up with him the corners but in the straights he was damn fast interesting how a 25K car can keep up with a 75K car through the turns and i'm on cheaply priced sumitomo tires with a drop in air-filter..everything else stock Last edited by FX86; 10-20-2016 at 01:00 PM. |

I was doing my oil change, after Im finished I took the car out for a spin for the new oil to sit in. I did a hard pull out of my street and out of no where a Nissan Alantra started chasing me from behind, once he caught up and driving next to me he started revving his engine without an exhaust. and just PEEEL off.....

Nissan Alantra? Is that like a cross between an Altima and a Sentra?

Maybe a week ago I was on a back road and slowed down to 40 for a small township / village area, a nice Harley came up behind me fast. Now this is where I learned my lesson in etiquette. I pointed him by to pass me as he was getting it, but being in the moment (and having watched Ghostrider videos the last night) I also accelerated while pointing him by. Well, it doesn't really work that way, so instead I had a Harley on my ass down the twisties while I was sheepishly still pointing him by. At one point got hung up behind a truck, slowed down, and he passed like a madman leaning into the corner.
But the lesson none the less, if you want someone to pass you, don't speed up in the process. |

@ShadowReaper I really wish. Thing is I was expecting a massive downshift anytime and him to pass me so held back and probably annoyed him the entire way. Again a lesson in etiquette. Went home and discovered their top rpm is around 5500 RPM? No wonder I was disappointed.

I was taking my normal route home the other night when a white genesis coupe rolled up next to me. He tried to get me to race him by revving super high and blowing by me three times. I ignored him until we turned off into a two lane side street. He took the next corner really slow so I just blew by him on the outside. He stayed in my rear view until he turned off on another street

I love pulling up next to Genesis when we both have to turn, I swear this happens every time by me lol... Light turns green, I speed up the twins take the turn so much better and I see his boat in the back and than finally he'll floor it past me. Lol.

I was driving my FR-S to the track one day on the stock wheels. Inside the car I had my clothes, tools, camera bag, and two full sets of track wheels with tires mounted on them. Some dipshit on the interstate kept trying so hard to get me to drag race him from an 80 roll. If only he knew...
