Little update :
1. I sent an inquiry to DAMD in regards to the production status of my interior kit. Hoping to have it in time for Autorama, a huge indoor show & shine in Montreal's olympic stadium in October. 2. I have pledged on the kickstarter campaign for Autopreme quilted floor mats. The campaign ended successfully back in June. This is the color scheme that I went with, and these are probably gonna take a while, but it's alright since I am going to store the vehicle for the winter. 3. Custom old school (former logo) Subaru emblems on the way. Thank you Pete Tompson! He had those in stock because of a previous customer who had second thoughts. I like to think that those were destined for me ![]()

Hey all, it's been a while since i've made an update (almost 6 months) !
Last week I got my autopreme floor mats, I think they're awesome and am really satisfied overall! Front and back row, quality finish, fitment is about 90% perfect, (above my expectations for a kickstarter product) I plan to perfect the fitment with some double sided-tape near the knee pads since the velcro won't adhere to plastic there. Also.. after a long wait I have finally received my DAMD 86Vantage interior!!!! I'm feeling ncredibly thankful and lucky for this to even have happened. This is the 2nd and possibly last kit outside of Japan! I am going to proceed with the installation over the coming days and will update with new pictures as soon as I can ![]() By the way the floor mats and DAMD brown trims are not a perfect color match, but close enough to my liking. We'll see once installed ![]() Regards, Jonathan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Good lord, that's going to look sweet. What are your plans for the steering wheel?

The wheel is probably far enough from everything else that if the color is a little off no one could tell if you went that route. Based on the quality of everything else you've done I'd probably get the wheel custom wrapped with better quality leather than it is now. Probably stick with black leather (or alcantara) with tan stitching. The DAMD catalog picture and Autopreme picture with black steering wheels and brown interiors both look great. I don't know about going with brown leather for the wheel. Personally I'm looking into a custom wrapped wheel or maybe the Cusco suede wheel for my car. |

Okay, that is old school and just way cool. The Subie emblems are clearly bummed out stoned. Great photo work.

At long last ! DAMD 86Vantage interior is now installed
That said I am incredibly happy with the rest of the kit and right now i'm not sure if i'll keep the green or not on the handles and dash. The car is going into storage in 2 weeks, so , i'll have plenty of time to meditate on this Also, (for anyone wondering) unfortunatly I could not get the leather radio dash panels. DAMD's existing template is tailored for left hand drive, and so it would have required a lot of custom work, akin to what they did on Sandy's 86Vantage in California, who sent them his existing trims for alteration and he also bought the whole exterior bodykit as well. Misc details that I want to sort out in due time : - Green wrap on the handles and radio dash panel - Red stitching on the steering wheel - Some world rally blue still showing on the inside of the doors - I need to order some OEM speaker grilles and rings from Subaru or Toyota. Mine were molded to the speaker pads (2013) Anyway, here are the pictures. Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Fixed thanks for the heads-up. Please note that these pictures were taken on 1st day of install, and that I couldnt afford to leave the mats outside for an hour like they recommend (temperature was way too cold, yay Canada) Fitment was already pretty good but they were not "settled" in yet.
