Hmmm

Check your throttlebody to make sure it is clean.

I've had my kit on for a bit over a week and occasionally get similar idle behavior but no codes yet, keep. I am going with a Delicious Tune to see if that resolves things

Other than that this kit is badass. Just enough oomph to put you back in the seat. Turning with the rear wheels is much easier, the car is even more fun to drive!

Thanks to CSG Mike for being right there when I had questions, definitely glad I purchased the kit through CSG!

Anyone have thoughts on where else to look? Loose hoses, or places that air could be getting in?

The behavior is noticeable when coming up to a stop. Clutch in, foot on the brake, the RPMs will dip down to 1000 and then climb back up to 2000 where it spins for a few seconds before settling back down to 1000. Once it settles, it stays there without wavering. The entire time, my right foot is on the brake, so no effect from the accelerator.

This is getting tiresome.

Shameless plug you guys might find interesting-

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=323

We're installing an E-Force blower on a customer's racecar, and he's letting us instrument the living daylights out of it to see how it really performs on track. We'll be adding three air temp sensors (intake air temp, post-supercharger, and post-intercooler) and two coolant sensors (pre- and post-intercooler) to monitor performance.

We're lucky enough to be based at a track in N. Texas used by several OEMs for their hot weather testing, so once it gets hot again we'll REALLY be able to put some stress on the system.

Hey guys, just recently added an Edelbrock kit to RS2.0 #43. The install went very smooth, very well thought out kit. I flashed it with the CARB tune from Edelbrock and test drove. I get quite a bit of hesitation/surge/bucking around 3k rpm with light throttle application. It's kinda like it can't decide what to do for a second then it lights up and goes. Also, the idle when you come to a stop (car is auto) will drop for a second to 500, then return to 750ish. When you put it in park, the idle will pretty constistently slowly hunt between 500-1000 rpm. I immediately thought vaccuum leak. I have triple checked all the vaccuum lines, made sure the clamps are tight, checked the intake gaskets, etc. What are you guys doing to resolve these issues? I've got Edelbrock trying to help me also but after reading this and the other thread I see quite a few people seem to have the same issues which leads me to believe it's not installation error. The car runs great other than these issues and does not set the check engine light.

Check the evap solenoid hose that I highlighted in my earlier post. There was quite a bit of air/smoke puking from there.

Otherwise, getting your own smoke machine or taking it into a shop to use theirs, seems to be the only way to find vacuum leaks. I still need to find time to resmoke mine.

I checked that. The hose on the back of the supercharger plenum that goes to the valve also seemed loose so I put a small hose clamp on it. Nothing seems to be helping it. I used a smoke machine and put smoke into the system and could not see any leaking either.

Those are pretty impressive results. Who's car? Do you know any more details regarding "supporting mods"? Built motor? Headers? Do tell
