So, has anyone put a Duramax in an FR-S or BRZ yet? It would totally fix the torque dip issue.

A duramax is like 11 grand to replace doubt its worth it (I know I work at a GMC dealer lol)

EDIT: @Tcoat and others, interestingly enough, we have a lot of research (and I did some of my own to recreate it in a more recent setting) that shows that the more alternatives and info/opinions you seek out in a given purchase, the less sure of you will be of your choice. There is a point, of course, because if you make a decision without some info on how it works, you can't use it, but after that....you're just hurting yourself.

Valid point, under normal DD there will be no difference. However on exit ramps during harder street driving maybe it can be felt.

But consider the price in weight to swap to a different motor to make hat power.

Better relocate battery to trunk too offset some of that weight. Might have to relevel your coils too

Exactly! It is something I battle all the freakin' time in the health and safety field. You have no idea how hard I laughed when those words popped up on my screen since this is the last place I ever would of expected to see them written even though this place is rife with it.
