Yea, maybe, but not in a good way...

Falls into the "interesting choice" category for me.

How did, "What kit is this?" turn into "Tell me how much you hate this photo?"

As a moderator, i'd think that you'd be one of the first to try to minimize the tomato-flinging. A member just wanted to ask a simple question and then had a torrent of criticism sent his way. Perhaps i'm just a bit too sensitive to etiquette and disrespect.

They are opinions. I see no reason not to let people have opinions and I don't see any personal attacks from either side.

As someone else mentioned it's likely a chop unless someone blended the kit in very well. If it's a chop then the OP will never find the answer because it doesn't exist.

So if you'll point me to the post that wasn't just opinions and did contain an attack I will deal with the post accordingly.

I can see well enough that there's no point. If you don't consider multiple unwarranted negative opinions to contain within it an inherent disrespect and potential for personal hurt as an 'attack,' then i yield.

I think the mods do a great job keeping this place civil.
I'm been married for 20 years with four kids and it is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.
Everyone is entitled to thier opinion, and yes sometimes posts can be hurtful.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=81

If every opinion posted on this forum, that could in anyway offend someone else, had to be monitored and deleted, then we would having nothing more than a bunch of photos and service manuals posted.

I agree, like I said (or at least intended), their ride their choice. It's just a car. They are allowed to love, I'm allowed to hate it, but in the end we're all still friends.

Yeah, absolutely! As long as it's not my $, they can do whatever they want.
