That's awesome!

When I get the BRZ I'm also excited to learn how to change the oil, tranny fluid etc. Never done anything like that. Will be awesome!

The car is what it is. It's not trying to be anything, unless you rice it out.

Ha. I was so close to pulling the trigger on that Nameless exhaust in the NW classifieds but hesitated because of my UEL header. I'm thinking 4" would just be too loud for my taste. Good pickup.

Also, it's going to feel like you are breaking your sidemarker as you pop it out--that's normal.

Thanks @Wyatt2617 for the story, it really does help knowing that you're not the only one that has gone through something like this, and that cars helped you too Today I just bought some cosmetic mods! Clear side markers, LED strips for cabin under glow, iJDMTOY reverse backup light and a rear diffuser I'm excited to learn how to wire tap, it'll open up a lot of different opportunities!

And I'm glad you mentioned the air filter! I was looking into one, I searched through some pages here and read to see if people thought they were really worth the money, does it actually help with getting better air flow? Any performance gains?

And yes I love the Nameless; I bought it from a guy on here through the northwest page. I think the sound is amazing; it's not too loud and to me sounds perfect with the UEL headers. Maybe later I'll look into getting a new midepip and headers to go with it!
You're welcome sorry if I came off as a 'Smooth Criminal' not my intention at all!

As for air filters, I see a lot of people running K&N or Perrin. I run a K&N myself. Any aftermarket Air filter will probably do just about the same thing. Not too much power to be added, but every little bit counts right? Ever thought about going Flex Fuel? Cheap and easy and adds some pretty good power I hear!

But also don't listen to me, I'm no expert in Subaru's

Hello welcome!! I taught myself to drive stick too, when I first got my BRZ. You get a sense of accomplishment from teaching yourself.
I also have the nameless axleback but mine is the 3 inch with 4" mufflers. I too love the way it sounds it's very deep and aggressive. Brings out that boxer sound. I plan to get their midpipe soon. I also love driving this car there's something about this car, the feeling you get when you get in and drive that not everyone gets.

You should look into getting Valentis or Toms or maybe the 2k17 tail lights if you haven't already. And as far as air filters go anyone will do I went with Apexi bc JDM 🔰

Sorry about your break up! And happy 1 year anniversary with your car! Just passed my 2 years with my car

Don't worry. We're all nice guys on this forum.

Real talk though, I've been on these boards for a while, but only recently have I really jumped down the modding rabbit hole. My car has transformed more in the last 3 months than it has since I bought it in 2013.
