But, for reals, I can easily set aside, like, 9-10 days to come visit you bros. All I ask is that you come to dinner with me one night, so long as it's a place that serves the fabled PNW microbrew beer that is so elusive in Ontario.

My geography of the US isn't amazing (especially when it comes to cities) but you and Steve are a few hours away from each other?

Speaking of time off...

It does suck working 60-70 hours a week and not making a penny of OT pay, but then I think about it and I realize, I get to stay at home for weeks on end, while collecting 40 hour pay checks. Then the big realizitaion comes at "holy shit, I have how much money left over every week? Better travel".

Like last winter when I wanted a poutine and a Montreal smoked meat sandwich, so I drove 12 hours total in 1 day to go and do just that. What an awesome way to live

You know where to reach me! Just tell me when and I'm there. Ultra may know where and what cool beer around here is however, I'm not a beer "foodie" - I simply drink whatever sounds good

Let me know when, and I sure can. 1st session usually starts around 7am though so it'll be a really early morning for you.. 2nd is around 1pm, which may be more manageable.

If all else fails, my buds and I can show you some roads around here.

Never before have I complained to a hotel front desk about their wifi speed. Tonight I did.

The conversation basically went:
Me: yeah, your internet is super slow, anything you can do about it?
Hotel: we can put you in touch with our help desk
Me: not sure what a remote service will do. Can you just reset your modem or router
Hotel: nope, speak with the help desk, and if they can't help you, bring your laptop to the front desk
Me: uhhhh... k

Then, as I'm dialling the help desk, the Internet suddenly speeds up, and I can actually stream Netflix. Wonder what happened there?
