Good for you for obfuscating the damage with shitty focus. You clearly made $1000 on that one.

Cell phone and I wish.
The pic is crappy so what you can't see is that about 3 inches is cut right through. It was a big chunk of steel a transport threw up off the 401. It came straight at me and I saw it coming soI got over as far as I could. Thought I was clear and BAM.
The good part was that since it hit me it was comprehensive and not collision.

I say 4000$ my car was hit in a similar fashion and only had to replace door panel and pint that entire side of my car to match and that alone was 2100$

Lol holy rip off.

Thats about 1600 at my shop. Can be pulled. Once you pop it out from inside most of that would be gone. little bit of stud and slide hammer with a dolly and hammer and youre good.

Oh the crappy phone pic doesn't show it well but there is about 3 inches that cut right through that they had to braze in. It isn't just a little dent as it appears. Not like I would have paid that anyway since if out of pocket I would have shopped around more but since that was the insurance companies pick of shop I didn't care how much it was. Since the chunk was moving and hit me (as opposed to me hitting it) it was covered by comprehensive not collision so I only paid $100 deductible.

I will give you a call in the spring when I want my front bumper and hood resprayed though.
