Cars.com has a new review up that actually speaks to the handling changes:
https://www.cars.com/articles/2017-t...1420691771365/ However, you do notice an immediate difference in the suspension tuning. The old FR-S was notoriously squirrely; the back end was too stiff, which made it chattery on the road and difficult to feel the limits of the rear tires' grip. It would break away without much warning, which could be dangerous. |

Read more at https://www.cars.com/articles/2017-t...cS6liEOIDoY.99 "while the styling changes provide enough of a signal that this now a Toyota and not a Scion" Really Mr. Wong? Do you not think that it would not have received the same changes if Scion was still around? Never notice that the Toyota's around the rest of the world looked the same as the FRS? "The old FR-S was notoriously squirrely; the back end was too stiff, which made it chattery on the road and difficult to feel the limits of the rear tires' grip." Bullshit. Most of the review consists of quips that could have come straight off of here. I could find no driver review from Mr. Wong on the old version and am not convinced he ever even drove one.

Now inversely, think of what this forum would be like if only technical items and official announcements were discussed. No banter, no joking, no informal interaction, no meaningless debate, just pure tech talk.

It's like it crashed into a Pep Boys (though I freely admit I still want the rear window louvers - I just wish the price would come down to a more reasonable amount).

Or somebody would make a half decent knock off for about 30% of the cost. I would have them on in a second if they didn't cost half the price of the car.

What the hell is the "Millenium Protection Package"? Unless it means a bumper to bumper warranty through 2099, they can keep it. Freakin' scammers.

Did they really mount that spoiler right on top of the stock brz spoiler? I wonder how functional it is.

On the black lip under the passenger headlight. There is a vertical line showing where the piece is removable.
Also there is a small piece of the bumper above the lip that also looks removable hard to tell on the red but on the blue it's right above the black lip with the vertical line. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk |
