In my distant past, I was a used car tech for a Honda New Car Dealership.

The dispatcher for tech work gave me lots of jobs to do within car doors. Couple of years later, I asked her why she gave me so much of the same type of work. She stated that it was because no other techs liked to do that kind of work. Well, it was news to me. I loved that easy and clean work, just must sit on the floor often to do it... a piece of cake to me.

Whenever I needed any side glass for one of my own cars...it was to the junk yard I'd go. So incredibly cheap to find used glass in very good condition.

Well, they're keeping the car overnight because "the window regulator is broken" and they needed to order a replacement.

Last I heard, an hour ago, the car was being sent from bodywork to service to properly diagnose the regulator issue.

If the regulator really is busted, it's going to be about 200$ for the glass and 300$ for the regulator including labor. Canadian monopoly money of course.

To you $300 is $300 unless you are paid in USD. Bad enough when the Americans use exchange rate to say things are a different value without us doing it as well.

We're just jealous that our money doesn't smell like maple syrup.

Well technically, since she is swallowing it, you would need to lick it out of her not off.
