Asked my younger brother to teach me how to drive his MT civic.

Only stalled over 3 times over an hour, took about... 10 times to get that smooth transition between releasing the clutch pedal and pressing the gas pedal from dead stop to go in first - without stalling or revving the engine.

Now I get it. Finally understand why people say "I feel like I have more control over the car".

Freaking leg hurts though lol

Try driving a WRX. The clutch is so heavy that after 5 years of owning them, I felt as though I could leg press a house. Going up stairs wasn't so much climbing, but rather pushing the Earth downward beneath me. Only the left leg, though, which was awkward.
