It depends on what you want out of the car. Imo, they aren't needed on the 86. It rotates nicely and turn in is excellent.

I think you misunderstood my point slightly. I realise that race cars still use "anti-roll" bars as part of their package, I was just indicating that street cars are more reliant on the anti-roll bars to control body roll as opposed to springs. And ask anyone who knows how to set up a race car properly. I mean a road course car, not an autoX car. They will tell you that springs come first and the anti-roll bars come second. The good thing about anti-roll bars in a racing sense is they can be tuned during the race if the car is equipped for it. Anyway we are going OT now.

And yes I know it is ubiquitous in the tuner and grassroots racing to call them sway bars. But it doesn't make it correct, and the pros don't use that term. /rant
There are many ways to skin a cat! Perhaps techinically sway bars may not be the right terminology but its a commonly used term right across the world in motorsport.

Correct in my book.

The answer is of course "it depends."

Slapping on a big rear bar is not a good idea in our opinion. Matched front and rear bars can help and having an adjustable rear is very helpful to make quick adjustments to the balance of the car at the track.

The question of how big is where it gets complicated and will depend on your suspension tuning philosophy, tire choice, the rest of your set-up, usage of the car, etc.

More testing is needed and we are working on it.
