I would have also chosen PBP over DGM, the color looks great in all kinds if lighting conditions.

For those of you who think PBP is purpley... I can admit that it is, at times, and I'm not a fan of purple. But to me PBP is almost an exotic color. Subaru was very bold to do such a color, and I think they pulled it off excellently. I've seen it in person and I absolutely love it.
Maybe Subaru will see this thread... ![]()

I would love that color. I would also love just an all out purple BRZ as well haha.

Nice color, but I still prefer Galaxy Blue

My linkshells never had that debate, possibly due to a decent female population (because colors!). Two of the shells were roughly the same color as that hauberk, as a matter of fact :P

You can't tell from pictures how the PBP looks, in person an in my opinion, it looks wicked. Saw this on a WRX and I almost got it. It is definitely exotic colored, and if I were to ever go for a "blue" color, this would be it.

PBP is beautiful. At times a dark purple, at times bright blue, and still other times walking the line between blue and purple. If a PBP WRX shows up at the dealership, I might just jump ship.

At this point I may jump ship for anything. I sent an e-mail to SoA and another to a dealer I'm working with, I haven't got anything from either of them. I swear this is the last Subaru I'll ever buy if I even get the BRZ. Never had a worse experience.

A few weeks back I was at the local Subie dealership once again trying to get some info on my #1 preorder SWP BRZ status when I seen her. Rolling off the truck a PBP WRX! The sales rep knowing that the WRX was always in play for me, and knowing my current frustration with the lack of info on my preorder offered it to me at cost. A hour later she was home. I luv the color, very unique and has a bunch of different shades depending on the lighting. After recently seeing a BRZ in person I know now the WRX was the wiser decision for me, having a couple of rapidly growing little ones. I can only imagine how sick a PBP BRZ will look but my guess is they probably will save the color for the STI.

The fact that they now offer PBP on the standard WRX makes me think that the color must've been selling pretty well on the STI. Despite that some people think it's "purple" (which it is at times), a lot of people still love it.
STI, WRX, BRZ next? Hope so! |
