[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgMYZxSxbIU"]2017 Toyota 86: First Drive - YouTube[/ame]
So this guy claims that the car sounds quite different from the 2013-2016. I am skeptical...it doesn't sound all that different from the video. For those who have driven the 2017 86/BRZ as well as the pre-facelift one, do you think it sounds much different? Last edited by revaholic; 10-05-2016 at 01:21 AM. |

Sold my Monogram today
Went by the Toyota dealer today and the Subaru dealer after. Ordered a new BRZ. The whole monospec thing is a little silly if you ask me. Would have liked to stay with Toyota even though I don't care for the front end as much but had to have the features of the Limited and don't want to wait for Toyota to come out with a special edition model.

I can't tell you for sure how it sounds out back being that I'm inside while driving it, but yeah, it sounds much different. And all these reviews of the 86 suck if it's not a stock car.

It is difficult to record the actual sound in video. However, I agree with you that track pipes always sound different.

Toyota has said that they will have more trims for 2018. I don't think they really had time to work it out for 2017. I expect that the performance package will show up for 2018. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
