Hey, Thomas!

Took a run from Mars Hill to Roan Mtn. last week, and let the GPS lead us into the park by one of the "back roads." All I can tell you is you take a county road east out of Beulahdean, and every time you see a sign for Roan Mtn SP, turn the other way. Absolutely beautiful and more fun than the proverbial barrel of monkeys to drive. After hacking around a few hours at the top, we took the road down to Spruce Pine -- dropped 4000' like a stone, smooth pavement with plenty of curliques and no traffic . . .

David.

Drove it again after it disappeared to the shop for a week for new timing chain cover / cam carrier seals.

Added a rear strut towerbar.

I added a rear strut tower bar and looking to add sway bars in the near future. With both strut tower bars in my coil overs and sway bars, it will stick like glue when I go back out to the track.

Finally tried out Ammo Reflex. It's been sitting in my kit for months and I haven't had the time or energy to do anything with it.

It goes on easier than any sealant I've used before, and smells pretty good too. Car looks amazing. Pics are from only wash + reflex; no additional wax or sealant applied.

Kickstarted Dashcam arrived

Finally received the Waylens dashcam I pledged for on Kickstarter last year in anticipation of buying the car.

I routed the dashcam power cable through the headliner down to the glove-box.

It includes a remote for marking video footage and a wireless ODBII accessory that transmits car data to the dashcam for an optional video overlay.

Not something I did today, but I applied some Sonax Polymer Net Shield a week back.
Finally had some decent rain in Toronto today, and boy does it work!

Was originally going to go with CQuartz or OptiCoat... but so glad I didnt.
Yes this stuff doesnt last as long... but its whatever. I'm down to apply it once every season if it means saving $800~ at one shot.

(sorry to all those with trypophobia)
