So, I'm currently searching through threads, but I'll ask you guys too:

When blipping the throttle for a little rev (moving or siting still) do you ever get a little click or knock on the first rev? It happens to me infrequently, and when it happens, I can't reproduce it immediately. i get it a lot when Im shifting up or down, and I blip the throttle in between gears, usually after the engine speed has dropped near idle. usually, Im being hesitant about exactly what it is that Im doing, or I just want to hear my exhaust as Im approaching a red light.


these things are a little more difficult to find good information on, seeing as people's written version of onomatopoeias tends to differ quite a bit.

perfectly fine..i usually drink the right amount in the morning before heading in to work so it usually lasts till the end of my shift..and i only post here during my work hours so it all works out

Just a little rev, quick push of the throttle. About as much as you'd use rev matching, maybe a little less.

I was going to say, my rev match is literally when I'm doing heel & toe, so talking bout 5k rpm and up lol

If it is, clutch is disengaged. I would say it is usually not.

yes. its right before the engine revs up. maybe metallic flutter is a more appropriate word.

apparently their alcohol policy sucks and i found a loophole where i can show up to work drunk but if i can perform well at my job (or better in this case lol) as if i were sober then they cannot dismiss me...if they say anything i will claim they are unnecessarily discriminating against me hehe
