So today I went stage 2 and when coming home, my buddy and I were at a stop light and I was revving the engine listening (and smelling.... catless stank) and he noticed behind me was a Slingshot. One of those 3 wheel things- they have no weight but a small motorcycle engine. 1750 lbs curb weight, 173 BHP/166 Tq- pretty close match for the twins really.
When I went around the corner he was matching my speed following me and I took a sweeping right to get on a long highway on ramp and he followed. Then the road goes to a sweeping left up a hill and I took it hard (I was not racing, I'm seeing what the stage 2 tune has), he tried to keep up but came REALLY close to throwing it into the guard rail. There was a wiggle, brakes, gas, wiggle then he caught it.... Handling FTW |

I love it when absolutely ridiculous cars try to race me, not mustangs or the like, but family sedans. They try to beat me at lights or, they will tail gate me. I got tail gated by some truck even though I was already 20 mph over the speed limit in a 30 zone.
It's the worst with the bikes. On my FZ-09, which goes 0 to 60 in under three seconds, I will have non-sports cars try to get ahead of me. I need to let it go, but I never do. |

Good point. I haven't crashed. Doesn't mean it can't happen. You are correct about letting them go. Hope you were okay after the accident!

Had this 2015+ prius Idk what year it was but it was the ones with the weird ass curves and angles. I was literally driving normal and then this mid life crisis guy flies in front of me and then goes 40MPH while I'm going......DUDE you cut in front of me only to slow down? I don't really understand how these people have this mindset of "I BEAT THIS CAR AND THAT CAR" when theyre the only ones racing themselves. I'm starting to notice cars FLY by and cut in front of me like they beat me or something like what? Cool man you were going like 60-70 in a 40 while I'm driving normally at 40-50 MPH congrats bro you drive a prius whatever makes you feel better about yourself. Like there's times when it's pretty damn hard to let it go because these annoying people with eco cars/family cars always wanna edge you on lol, is it because they know our cars are underpowered from the factory and they wanna try and make us feel bad about buying our 86s? |

Down in Jacksonville Beach, at a stop light (of course) I was behind a blacked out 14' 15' corvette, looked real nice. Two cars behind me there was a white FRS.
Light turn green, corvette got on it after the turn and I was like ehhhhh f*** it why not? I got on it coming out of the turn and tried to keep up with him... I actually kept up with him at first then it was game over lol. After that happened the white FRS behind me passed on the left lane and I gave him a thumbs^ and he waved back and smiled. #coolstorybro

Its been quiet until the last couple of weeks. Bunch of 3 series kept revving at me at the red light on numerous occasions. Dont' really understand why 0-50kph would be so exciting on a terrible road with bunch of cops...
Near my area, several vans (odyssey, caravans, etc) and SUVS (rogues, crv, tucson) tend to be driving like bunch of asshats as well. Had people tail me until the ramp to the highway. But i guess they didnt realize going 80 down 40kph ramp was severely beyond their vehicle capability and understeered until it caught traction (hopefully that was the case as I didnt really stick around to find out). |
