what really grinds my gears is when I have to commute to work for one thing only to come right back to go to school near the house.

I guess it adds to my 1000 Miles everyone is pushing me to get ASAP lol!

I should just drive 500 miles away and then back

Highway miles aren't good for the break-in. Besides, the transmission won't feel noticeably better until about 5000 miles. It'll keep improving into the 20 Kmi range. At least, it did for me.

I had no choice but to do highway miles for my break in period. Bet the people on the highway thought I was texting or something with how much I varied my speed.
