Well now, I can understand exhausts getting louder when they age, because of what you mentioned (the packing settling), but not getting softer because of carbon build up.

Yes, you're correct ..... not a problem for me. I have over active wax producing glands in my ears, that work along with overactive hair follicles ...... which produces this hairy/waxy combination that poor mrs humfrz feels compelled to dig out each night.....

She does that so as I can hear her screaming at me to quit peeing off the deck ...... which I do so she won't bitch at me about leaving the toilet seat down.

However, the hair on my legs is all gone ...... I suspect it's now growing in my nose .....
