I've noticed this as well but only after I installed a Perrin cold air intake. Do you guys have aftermarket intakes? And its been quite warm out and when I start it up, it's usually around 50-70F and garage kept, so it's definitely not due to the ambient temperatures being too cold.

Did you ever figure out the problem?

I know this car hasn't been out for many years, and all the niggles that come with first year model cars are still largely unsolved. My point is, for a sports car the BRZ/FR-S definitely has all the strange noises and annoying problems that come with sports cars. One thing is for sure, the BRZ/FR-S is not boring.

Mine does this as well and I also adjusted my tune to be much less dramatic since i don't have either cats on my car.
