We are just now getting back to normal in the Nashville area. Not that TN gets any fuel from the Alabama pipeline...

I had to fill with 87 over the weekend. I was on E and couldn't risk going any longer looking for 93.

I will say that traffic wasn't all that bad this past Monday and Tuesday. I am thinking a lot of people called out of work because they were afraid of using gas or they simply couldn't make it because 90% of the stations didn't have any fuel at all.

Yea, your bad luck is my good situation. :P

Actually TN gets much of their oil from that pipeline as does most of the East coast. See the spurs that run through TN on this map.

Because I commute 85 miles a day, being picky wasn't an option for me. I was able to get a full tank of 93 on Sunday, but had to settle for a half tank of 90 on Wednesday to go with the half of the 93 I still had to make sure I got through the week.

We're taking a road trip this weekend so I'll treat it to a couple of tanks of 93 or maybe even ethanol free to make up for it.

There's a science centre in Ontario? Jesus. I need to get out more.

Just this past weekend, I saw Casa Loma for the first time in my life. Stupid girlfriend living in Toronto and making me do stupid touristy stuff.

I think I misinterpreted the quote from Gov. Haslam. Whatever the case, they said that 'this isn't the only source of oil,' but that those other source simply take more time to deliver.

It was a brilliant place back in the late 70s, a huge influence on my life choices.

You didn't go there with school? I figured everybody went there in grade 7 or 8. Even my grandson went.
