I put a supercharger on my wife's BRZ a few weeks back. The extra power was too much for the stock tires. These aren't as meaty as a lot of the tires in this thread, but they have solved the power/grip imbalance.
245/35ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports and 18x9 wheels.

Meaty Tire Thread

Depends on ride hight, camber, and offset of wheel. Stock everything I would say 17x9 -40 offset with 245/40/17 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey all,
Ive spent the last few hours reading these pages now (info overload) but thought id be best to ask.. **Please bare in mind im a complete novice at this wheel stuff** I understand that 18x9.5e40 with a 255/35 will rub with stock suspension, but i was told that adding a 5mm spacer will stop it from rubbing completely, is this true? Would also like to know if adding a 5mm spacer is the same as the wheel being 18x9.5e35. Thanks

18x9.5 with 285/30, tein street basis coilovers. Square setup, 285's on the front as well, they just poke about 5mm.
