We are putting the finishing touches on our own DIF top hats for the FRS/BRZ, as well as other vehicle applications to be introduced in the future.
  • Designed, manufactured, and assembled in Southern California
  • High clearance spring perch allows for maximum compression travel
  • Upper mount install kit is specific design for each coilover kit. Will include upper spring perch and coilover-specific center nut and is priced separately from the top hat

DIF 10622 - Camber/caster adjustable front upper mount, Scion FR-S/ Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ

  • Top Hat Coaxial install kit (not pictured) MSRP - $150.00
  • 0 ~ -3 degrees camber adjustment without eccentric bolt
  • 7075 aluminum material
  • 18-8 stainless steel mounting screws
  • 303 stainless camber washers
  • FK teflon-lined bearings
  • Mounting bolt retainers allow easy top-side only mounting and caster adjustment
  • Raised bearing mounting point frees up to 0.750" of compression stroke compared to stock

DIF 10623 - Caster adjustable front upper mount, Scion FR-S/ Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ
  • MSRP - $300.00
  • Top Hat Coaxial install kit (not pictured) MSRP - $150.00

  • 7075 aluminum material
  • 18-8 stainless steel mounting screws
  • FK teflon-lined bearings
  • Fixed mounting bolt allows caster adjustment with precision
  • Raised bearing mounting point frees up to 0.750" of compression stroke compared to stock

DIF 10624 - Coaxial rear upper mount, Scion FR-S/ Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ
  • MSRP - $300.00
  • Top Hat Coaxial install kit (not pictured) MSRP - $150.00
  • True coaxial design that minimizes spring bind when lowering the car
  • 7075 aluminum material
  • 18-8 stainless steel mounting screws
  • FK teflon-lined bearings
  • Raised bearing mounting point frees up to 0.836" of compression stroke (1.115" at the wheel) compared to stock

For an idea of how this will look, here's the DIF top hats mounted on a set of KW V3 (for sale very soon):

Many of our staff (including the machinist of the top hats) are at SCCA Nationals this week competing. We hope to get answer(s) and more details out to everyone shortly.

Thank you.

Hello,

The upper mounts do not include the suspension-specific installation kit.

We could make one for the OEM spring. However, it may not give you the suspension travel benefit you seek as the springs will be preloaded.

It could be a great way to lower the car on factory springs and not have to worry about losing compression travel...?

It's definitely possible. We will take this suggestion into consideration and see it can be done economically.

Thank you.

Yet another cascam plate. It will be hard to allocate significant market share vs existing offerings or due several coilovers featuring own camplates in set. I'd prefer to see someone finally making something different, eg. camber plate with rubber bushing, something where Whiteline failed with their discontinued Com C with failing bearings.

Thank you for the feedback.

The rear top hats are a coaxial design that removes spring bind issues with traditional coilover rear top hats that do double duty as a spring perch.

The fronts have more travel built in to them, but we also offer one with maximum camber and caster adjustment only, which is unique on the market.

Rubber bushings are nice, but unfortunately the entire market is sold on pillowball upper mounts as the preferred upgrade route.

Thanks for offering us another option.
Honestly I don't know what the previous poster is talking about.
I've been looking for top hats that allow extra compression travel and so far only you guys and Cygnus offer it.
I know KW also has their own, but they ca n not be purchased separately

Just got their front camber plates matching with my kw v3. Good price and the product looks very high quality (not a pro tho) and they have good customer support. Will recommend.

I'm not understanding the coaxial install kit.

Perhaps I just don't realize what it is or how it fits in. Could you provide a picture of it? Is it needed to install with a coilover like the KW V1's?
