Interior looks so much better with the armrest, it's still not an option in Canada for either of the twins.

Photoshop sure does wonders on a ugly car.

Regarding that armrest. It's very nice and I always wanted one until I found out that when you want to put drinks inside, the armrest opens up to the passenger side and sticks up making it very uncomfortable for the passenger. It's great if you never drink in the car but I like my Second Cup & Tim Hortons <3

You hate it so much, you have to copy and paste your comment to comment section on Carscoops. Not that I care, but I find it hilarious.

I don't have any problem with what you did. Just find it hilarious. Purely personal opinion.

Europe is use to paying for more content on cars that do not have more power. In the US people freak if they try to charge to much for even luxury cars that don't have a 6 cylinder engine, never mind an 8 cylinder...

I have a passenger in my car maybe 15% of the time, and I have a drink that needs to be stowed maybe 15% of those times. On those rare occasions, I just tell the passenger, "Sorry, but unless you want to hold this, I need to leave this up."

Just visited the 86 toyota page today and realized how hideous this car looks in all of the official photography..

Weird I actually like the way the car looks from all the unofficial media Iv'e seen.

haha different strokes I guess. I actually can't bring myself to get the performance package because I don't like how those wheels go with the WRB brz. I should have just gotten it and sold them to you

Unfortunately it doesn't look like North America is getting the gunmetal PP wheels.

I personally can't stand all black wheels on these cars.

Looks like I need to overnight some parts from Japan.

Reminds me of the earliest FT86 concept, and that's a good thing...

So I finally saw the real thing today at the dealer. It was a white one.

So I actually like the exterior. Pictures seem to make it look weird but in person it actually looks good.

The front bumper doesn't actually bother me. Looks cool to me actually.

The rims match the car perfectly and look great since the front end is much more aggressive now. (Though i bet many will still replace them with some ugly aftermarket wheels)

The headlights make the car look so much more modern! I have never been into the headlight/tail light scene but wow....I want new headlights now.

The 86 logo on headlight is still lame.

86 badge on side also looks tacked on. Not a fan.

Taillights look good but i still like the 1st gen more.

Interior is where this car lets me down. The seats look very bland and boring. The dash looks cheap and ugly with that alacantara and not a fan of the steering wheel.

That aside, it's still a cool looking car.

I like the 1st gen more, but this refresh is nice also. They both have there own look.

Overall thoughts;
First gen looks more 90's and classy.
The refresh looks more modern and cool.
