Hello,
just got the OFT from Shiv and very enjoy the stage1 93 tune. I have TRD exhaust system on the 2013 frs, and im considering about change my intake to TRD or K&N or if you have any recommendations? if I changed the intake, do I need to modify some tunes by using RomRaider? or i dont need to? please advice, because if this will gain more hp then i'll be move onto the next stage with OFH. thanks, Jeff |

Have a read of the Basic bolt on Mods Guide link below There is very little hp in intakes and you will likely need to alter maf scaling in tune to suit intake Much easier and cheaper option is to buy a performance drop in filter like apexi or similar dry filter. Save you money and put it towards a set of catless header you will get a much better bang for buck than an intake. |

So i have kinda a dumb question, just got a OFT in the mail today, yay very excited! plugged it into my car and read the stock rom, now I have plugged into my pc and im ready to upload a tune, now this is where the question comes in.
In Open flash manager it shows my calibration as ZA1JA00C but if I look at the other tunes that it has created they go as. Stg 1 A01C.bin Stg 2 EL A01C.bin Stg 2 UEL AO1C.bin etc... If my calibration is ZA1JA00C than why are the tunes that it created A01C? Which do I upload, A00C.bin or A01C.bin? For any reference my mods are borla UEL headers, Injen intake, and power blocks. |

Those are the default maps. You want to download the updated maps from their webpage. Once you download them, you can upload the correct file to your tablet by removing the default maps. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Maybe I missed it, but do we know if the 2017 cars are supported by OFT? Their website says 2012+, just curious if anyone has a 2017 that has successfully flashed with OFT.

They have support for F00C and F40C manual 2016 cars, not sure on the auto, but find the calibration ID of the eCU and ask the OFT guys they will be able to help. If they dont have tunes for them they will be able to make some up once they get hold of a rom from the later model cars

@steve99 could you explain the benefits of dialing in both PI and DI independently and could you explain the process as to how if I use the VGI MAF scaling tool.
I understand maxing out both DI and PI than logging.... but what's after that? Would I just scale my MAF to each than scale it one last time when I intorduce both? I know increasing or decreasing injection latency helps with LTFT at idle but again what about those crossover points? Any tips while on e85? One last question Steve99 are there any other maps that will have a direct effect on LTFT? I'd like to know different ways to address LTFT than scaling my MAF so any help is appreciated If you've answered this before I apologize Thank you! |

There is probably very little to gain if you haven't swapped an injector set. In theory it would be beneficial for ensuring that fuel trims don't change when changing between PI/DI/Dual.
How you would do it is up to you. However scaling the MAF on one and then the other is going to show you the difference, how you then manipulate it is done by PI flow scalar and/or the many DI tables. LTFT will obviously be affected by any fueling calibration changes like those just mentioned, however by playing with the open loop and closed loop fuel maps you can deactivate the LTFT if you desire. This has it's advantages and disadvantages.
