Why is it that my list of "things to do before leaving the bay" is mostly composed of driving and eating...

On the list today: Redwood rd, Hang Ten Fries and spam misubi from Hang Ten Boiler!

So, some how one of the nuts on my Whiteline rear LCA came loose and came off while driving. Only found out cuz Firestone pointed it out while I was trying to get an alignment.

Who installed them? Maybe the bolt was not torqued to the correct spec and worked itself out.

I installed them. Torqued them to spec according to Whitelines instructions. It's either hwy 37 is that bad, or they didn't torque it down the first time I took my car in for an alignment some months back.

Which nut? Was is the camber adjustment nut? When you were installing them, did you torque them down while the car was in the air? I believe you are supposed to torque them down with the suspension loaded (car sitting on the ground). Its pretty difficult to do unless you're on an alignment rack.

Either way, the people who did your initial alignment should have found that and torqued that down when they were done.

I torqued them down while the car was on the ground cuz I tried minimizing the camber when I installed them. My back and arms were sore, but can't do anything about that.

I'm sure it's more likely due to highway 37 and the main street leading to my home.

They really wouldn't release my car until the alignment was in OEM spec. They worked on it for much longer than they should have. With that said, I can't run the TC105N now since the front camber is less than -1* now. So looks like I'll be running the stockies (which they scratched up a bit with the laser guide panels) until next year when I decide to get another alignment done.
