It's all manifold vacuum, so it doesn't really matter. Just remember the closer to the actual manifold it is, the more accurate it is.

If anyone has more details on that, please let me know so I can make note of it!

Also, just to clarify, the HKS Flash Editor will not work on an AT car. So you if you do install the V3 kit, you will need custom tuning.
There is no difference between AT and MT with regards to pulleys, apart from the fact that it's more difficult to remove the crankshaft pulley on an auto as you can't put it into a gear to lock the crankshaft, so you need to lock manually. But it has nothing to do with the SC installation as removal of the crankshaft pulley is not necessary for that.

The front of the engine and pulleys layout is identical between MT and AT.

Interesting...in that case, I'd be interested to hear from somebody who has installed a V3 kit on an AT car to know if there were any other issues, other than the tuning, which we know the Flash Editor doesn't work for because AT cars have different ECU ID's.

The pulley included in V3 Kit uses 6PK but universal pulleys are 8PK.
Actually 8PK pulley have interference while installing and running with the oil level gauge boss and the auto tensioner body.

Has anyone experienced this on their kit?
I have a V2 kit on for about 6 months, roughly 4000km and tonight I noticed oil coming out of the supercharger exit.

Would this oil be the traction fluid or by-pass oil? I haven't thrashed the car it's mostly city driving sub 5k rpm.

Thanks

Nope I've thrown mine around pretty hard too. The most I get is a little traction fluid out the lid.

I'm also in china and I've already finished installing V3 on my manual car. Word of advice, do not run the smaller pulley on 95or98Ron fuel, it is meant for E85 that is not readily found at gas stations. So I'm saying unless you are running race gas like VP ms109 ALL THE TIME, then run the original v3 pulley. Watch the type of fuel you are going to use with the smaller pulley.

I am running 265 sized ad08r and you can still out power them easily, just my thoughts.

Why not?
V3+100mm pulley+RON 98 with no issue.
Even V2 w/o restrictor can live with RON 98.
It's just matter of calibration.

yes, you probably arent running the correct catch can or one at all.

you need a proper FI catch can. the v2 blowers spins the fastest.

its "blow-by" oil and fuel vapor that is recirculated to the intake

there are quite a few reasons "why not" but it all depends on your intake temps. if your intercooler is doing its job then you should be good. e85 burns cooler and allows you to pull more timing safely. keep in mind these are draw through maf setups not speed density.

the v1 kits run a 100mm pulley with a much smaller intercooler making much higher intakes temps... you should be fine aywhere below 10-11lbs of boost though. i wouldnt go higher on pump gas... talk to your tuner.

It is very luckly to meet some Chinese here.
For the V3 kit the stock pulley is 110mm, also HKS provide a 100mm kit for us.
I heared from Guangzhou there is a guy tune the 90mm pulley for 7040L in Hks v1 to use 95 petrol.
For my v3 kits I think at least 100mm pulley is good for Chinese 98 petrol.
I already have big radiator, oil cooler, also I want to buy a AEM water injetor system. Could you help me to find a way how to reduce my intakes temps?
Thanks a lot!
If the Chinese guys interesting in my v3 kit install, you can add my wechat 13910761886, I can send the Map for the 90 mm pulley tuning.
