5k extra eh?
Buy a second set of wheels and sticky tires, better brake pads, a snell approved helmet.
Maybe an exhaust and a high flow air filter.
Use the rest for auto x and track days.

More details please.

Doesn't have to be purchased new, just still has to be under the 36,000 mile warranty and the warranty coverage was adjusted because of the Edelbrock installation. No mention that it you have to be the original owner in the agreement.

OP :This gets my vote. But then you'll need better tires. Then you'll need experience driving the beast. Maybe you need 10K.

Looking at these posts it seems the big thing is tires. Hit me up with some tires! Again I don't know about parts and brands so advice would be great!

Well, Odsil, I reckon that depends on what kind of driving you want different tires for.

* touring ..?

* auto X .. ?

* track ..?

* general going around corners faster ..?

Unless you plan on doing any of the above, and since you live in Florida (no ice/snow), I feel that the tires that on your car would be just fine .....

+1 on this, well done!

Take a second to read through our blog post about the 6 Mods to Get the Most out of Your FRS/BRZ.

It gives a great description of what FRS/BRZ products we see most from our customers and research and why!

Definitely a good read for someone looking to mod their 86

Feel free to drop me a PM or email and I would be happy to help!

Wrong the warranty is only good for the first 3 years in service date or 36K miles on the odometer.

ELIGIBILITY
In order for a vehicle to be eligible for the E-Force limited powertrain warranty:

  1. The vehicle must have less than 36,000 miles on the odometer and the E-Force Supercharger System must be installed within 3 years of the original in-service (purchase) date as determined by the manufacturer of the vehicle or by OASIS, or by GMVIS, or by Dealer Connect.
  2. The vehicle must be equipped with an Edelbrock E-Force Stage 1 or Stage II (Chevrolet Corvette only) supercharger system. Please visit Edelbrock.com/eforcewarranty for a complete list of eligible Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System by part number/ application.
  3. The vehicle must be legally registered & insured by the applicant named on this Limited Powertrain Warranty Terms & Activation document.
  4. The installation of the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System must be conducted by: a certified new car dealership; a certified Edelbrock E-Force supercharger installer; or by an automotive service technician certified by the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) at an automotive repair facility with a valid business license.

WARRANTY TERM
The contract term shall be the 36 months/36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The term of months shall be counted from the vehicle’s original in-service dates. In order to determine the in-service date for your vehicle, you may: request it from a new car dealer for your make of vehicle, order a CarFax report, or call (877) 266-3838 and request the date for a fee of $9. Mileage shall be measured from ZERO (0). The coverage under this contract will only be activated provided
