I had the PBM Subframe/Diff bushing installed. Its a bit of work but I love it. It's noisy and you feel everything!

Personally, I haven't noticed any "slop" in the drivetrain of my MT FR-S. Maybe, I'm just used to the old drivelines ...... where, if you couldn't rotate the driveshaft at least 1/4 turn ...... something was wrong ..... humfrz |

Sorry to bring up this old thread, but my OE diff bushings are cracking and the rubber is separating around the bolts. What is the best diff mount option for that these days?

If you're experiencing failure of the actual bushing, you need to replace them. The inserts are good only if your bushings are in good shape. Or get the diff brace. I'd still just replace the bushings, superpro makes a great set

I have 99k miles on my car now. The differential bushings were cracked. I had installed the inserts(KDT925) for a week and then moved to the (KDT924) bushing replacement.
You can definitely get by on the diff inserts. But if you have a pretty beat up bushing you should just get the full replacements. KDT924 feels really good and worth the extra install time. I was able to do it without dropping the sub-frame or even removing my TRD exhaust.
