O MY GOD I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!! Those pictures are amazing. I love the fact that his thing looks like a lil future supra lol....
Oh and just so no one thinks I'm just another noob. I've been trolling/stocking this sight since the death of the FT-HS (thank GOD) and have been following this car very very closely. Just haven't been posting since now lol.

No doubt that corners got cut creating that showcase on their website. Heck the official video that they put on the website is nothing more than a Gran Turismo 5 movie.
Still, gotta love it =) |

A little too much bling, but it still looks good (though I like the 1st one and last month's magazone scans more). As it's still a concept, the production model will be different anyway.
I'm slightly disappointed that it's grown a bit, but am happy it's still small. Are those vents above the front wheels functional? Some important questions are still unanswered: Weight? Cost? Engine specs? Last edited by Deslock; 03-01-2011 at 06:52 AM. |

Really shocked at how schlocky and cheesy-tuner this looks especially compared to the smart-looking v.1. FAIL. If this is what they put into production I will be looking elsewhere.

OMG i WAS a fan of the car , but now they've just ruined the design . the sexiness of the car is gone , the front is no doubt cool and more aggressive but the back looks like crap.

Where to start? I'm not as disappointed now that we have the live shots, but I must say, I think I like the Concept I a lot more.
The good? This car looks mean as f'k. Very aggressive. Says "I mean business and I totally look the part". I like the nose (minus the blingy LED lights), and I like that the nose reflects Toyota's emerging new design language. The bad? The ugly? IMO they royally fucked up the rear (pun perhaps not intended...perhaps). Graft the rear of the original concept onto this and I'd be ecstatic. The design changes make the car look more muscular from the front, but fat from all other angles. It makes sense that the car is slightly bigger (you know regulations and all that) but I hope it does not correspond to making this car a lard ass. I'm still hoping this car is in the 2600lb (1150kg) weight range. Quote:

OI
i just realised someting who the fuck put the brakes on backwards?? slotted rotors are directional and those are facing the wrong way :p nah im just kidding, but i hate when the slots dont lean towards the rear, and if they make the cooling vanes directional, forcing the slots towards the front, that will be the only part of this car i wouldnt like

I'm not a big fan of black color on cars, but looks so so great!
I have to say the new lines design specially in the front make it a lot of agressive, like the LFA... Mmm I'm in love ![]() Thanks Hachi and work!Ps. The red one of the new GT5 video is perfect IMO!! i hope red gonna be metallic/pearl

Looking at the gt5 vid I really like both the headlights an the tail lights, ESP if they keep the led projector beams for high/low (r8 much?) but that's doubtful since the r8 headlights (full led ones) cost 5k+ each
But I love the light slits in both the front and back lights so that they appear like slanted lines from head on but a solid line from the side

This one seems less believable as a production car then the first one. And whats with that Pontiac rear wing? DELETE! It honestly looks like a tuner companies rendition and not a manufacture production. I'll wait to see how much this car keeps at production, i can see a ton of this being deleted which should help!
