i placed my order on thursday the 21st of June
and my dealer has not said anything on dates
or any allocation
nothing...

Hey guys, i ordered my GTS MT at Toyota Grebe on the 8th June.....till now i haven't got any tracking no. or what so ever.....i did wrote a email to my sales person regarding this few days back but so far i haven't heard from him.....what should i do? is my order in?
i went there last weds to test drive the car, the sales person told me Toyota side can't confirm the production date yet so he can't confirm my delivery date as well at the moment......the reason i choose them as they are own by Toyota instead of franchisees.
What he said is true?

You ordered exactly the same day as me. We "should" have our cars by October/November but tbh I have no idea either. You need to call your dealer and ask them specifically for your "stock number". If they have placed your order, they will have a stock number for you. They need to set up your on-line tracking log in for you. If you have a stock number, you are able to track your car provided they set it up for you.

Same question........I believe it is up to the dealer, I went to order on 7th of June, and they had five available cars to order, two in auto, I did not choose the auto Black GTS which will be ready in June, I chose the white GTS auto with Aero Kit that would be built in June, delivery in July.....

Don't know how you guys have to wait so long.....

Is it just me, or is all this speculation about productions and delivery times something that TMCA could help out with ?? People with order dates very close together are getting all sorts of different info from dealers, so couldn't TCMA make an announcement like:

"People who ordered a GTS between #### and #### Date in April will be built in #### month, People who ordered a GTS between #### and #### date in May will be build in #### month, and so on as the dates for production and different models are announced by Toyota Japan".

I understand that this is what they have there tracking site for, great idea if everyone gets access to it at the same time in placing there order, but there seems to be alot of different information floating around about production and when you can and can't in the production cycles access the tracking site to keep an eye on what is going on with ya car, and this is only making people more concerned that their dealer is not ordering cars correctly.

If you see someone who ordered an 86 at the same time or after you who has been given access to the Web tracking and you can't get it, it causes some concern.

Placed my order on the 3rd March. Have to wait for late July delivery. *shrug*

I placed mine in mid march. 3rd pre-order, 1st manual order.

My tracking says "on order" and just last Monday it came up and said planned production month August.

So the early hints(back in end of may) I got from some people at Toyota hq, I was told a early September delivery.

Great ordering\allocation and tracking system Toyota.

I guess you just have to get lucky. Cause pre-ordering early at the biggest dealerships doesn't seem to help. !!!!!

I hardly think comparison between TMCA staff and general public is a fair consideration.

I would hope they fill general public orders before staff get their allocated orders.
