unlike some of you, i actually think the back is a major improvement, specifically the taillights which on the original concept i thought were hideous. the front, however, definitely got worse... i don't like the beefiness of this one, and also the downward swoop of the headlights. moreover, i could care less for the leds.

nonetheless, it's still a pretty good looking car to me!

Wow thanks admin for ur effort.

Now thats one bad @ss looking car

Any spec yet? because the look of this sexy car, its a shame if its going to be only 2L

from the look of this car, it should be at least 2.5L with Turbo charged

Again, Thanks admin

I really like it better then the original concept.
Rear wing has to be removed/chenged for the german market as it is not allowed to have rear wings like this.

Fuel cap is on the wrong side though, I prefer it on the left.

Hurmmm. Not sure about that tbh. Looks a lot more like a Subaru now imo.

The side-window shape has changed, which was one of the things i liked most about the 1st concept. It no longer has that nice flick-up at the bottom of the rear quarter window.

The roof line also looks a lot higher.

There are a lot of fussy details on the car; the lights, around the front and rear bumper etc.

If i'm honest I dont really see the point of this concept2 anyway- I mean if they're saying its *closer* to the production intent car, but not the production intent car- why not wait until it was ready?

It sounds like the car we'll actually be able to buy will still be quite different.

Any shots of the interior?

Dimensions:

"The concept measures 4,235mm long, 1,795mm wide and 1,270mm high, with a long, 2,570mm wheelbase."

*Not sure how this compares to the mk1 concept...

"The FT-86 II Concept is the latest stage in the development of a new, compact rear-wheel drive sports car that is being jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru. The best news? The new model will be launched in Europe next year."

OMFG!!! THIS IS THING LOOKS SOOO HOT!! I WANT IT NOWWWWWWW!!!

My only concern is that this might not be a 20-25k car. At least not the way it looks now.. it'll probably be toned down quite dramatically.. I hope this actually does become a Scion though because I don't want to deal with all that dealership mark-up crap (which will definitely happen if it's branded a Toyota).

But still, so far I am sold!! Thanks for all the photos Hachiroku! I've waited all day to see it!
