Help?

My '13 scion frs is having problems lately. My car died twice in the span of 2 weeks. I had to get a jump start to continue driving my car. The symptoms were as follows. My car (on full charge) would drive fine for about 2 weeks before giving off signs of a dying battery, alternator, or bad sparks ? So whenever I put my key in and turn it, I would see all the electricals turn on (check engine light, traction, griploss lights, tpms, etc etc) and I would hear lots of clicking noises. It never holds the charge and turns over the car. I am absolutely dumb founded as to what it can be. I don't know if it's the alternator that's not charging my battery. My sparks not turning over, or if its just my battery not holding the charge.

(This was recreated for the community in the case that someone else has this problem as those with '13 twins will start having similar problems) I fixed this problem by testing out the battery via AutoZone with a volt tester, it told me it had a bad battery so I swapped it out and everything is brand spanking running. If anyone else has this problem test your battery! Instead of trying to swap out an alternator for 400 or paying for sparks ($70, and paying for exorbitant labor fees).
thanks @swarb for reminding me to keep it up for the community) haha

Also, thank you to @Nickosport and @Tcoat for helping me identify and resolving this problem.

Your battery is going flat. The clicking is a dead giveaway. If you still have the factory battery, its about time for it to go. Take it to an auto parts store and have them test it.

^^^^^Yep. All the classic signs. I wish I had a dollar for every person that said "my lights all work so it can't be my battery". There is just enough power to engage the solenoid but not enough to spin the starter. That is the clicking sound.

Now, ain't THAT the truth ........

Reminds me of a few years back when I got my 94 year old dad a talking "atomic" watch, because he couldn't see a regular watch.

A few months later, he said it quit running, so he put it face down on the window sill, like I said to.

I mentioned that it most likely needed the battery replaced. He said, "battery?? ....I thought you said it was an atomic watch".....
