For those of you who are on the fence about RacerX suspension bits, you should stop worrying. Sexy good quality work, welds were perfect, and I opted for a special powdercoat request of purple. Very happy with my purchase. I never got around to taking a pic before I put them on the car, but you can see my exact pair on their Instagram if you look for @RacerXfab as well as pics of other great fabrications. In the future they will surely get more of my money.

So you removed the whole thing altogether? I just removed mine and went on a test run around the block. My traction control and abs warning lights are on, I'm hoping this is due to an alignment issue and not that the arm was removed and blew a fuse or something..

Just a note to others when doing the LCA installation, do tighten the nuts when adjusting the arms. I noticed that it spins loose today even after I've tighten them up. Might be worth checking after a few drives and check that it's really tight and holding in place.

Would also be nice if RacerX will include that 4th bracket on the LCA for non-US cars too. I think SPC have a little slot on theirs to bolt down the headlight leveller arm (Thanks to @DF-Aero for identifying this 4th bolt) Apart from that, a solid built part and happy with it. I'll update with a bit more feedback after I play with it more.

We have AP arms on atm and without that 4th hole. We will try to get the car equipped with the whole RacerX suspension kit asap. Looks solid and RacerX seems to be doing great. Also refered RacerX to Fredric Aasbos FT86 over here. They just snapped PeeBee motorsport frontlower arm twice and they need to build or come up with a better solution.

RacerX we have been talking on mail latley. If you want me to proceed on getting Fredrics FT86 some RacerX let me know.

One comment and a question:

I have the RacerX rear LCA with the spherical bearings. I only hear them at low speeds in our parking garage at work. Driving over the concrete, you can hear the metal on metal contact.

Does anyone have the RacerX front lower control arms with the OEM sway bar? If so, how is the clearance?

It seems everyone forgot about Racer X products 3 years ago?

As I found out they seem to be the only ones who produce proper front lower control arms for reasonable price and even have 2 options for those. My questions to @Jeff@Racer X Fab (if you are still here) are:

1) You say "*Not for use with extended ball joints." Why is that? Does it mean that my Whiteline ball joints from the bump steer correction kit won't fit?

2) What is the maximum I can widen the track with your control arms? I want to extend each side by about 2 cm - would it be possible with just control arms and Ohlins R&T coilovers?

Thanks!

For everyone's benefit - I've got prompt response from Racer X guys via email:

"We recommend not to use extended ball joints for a simple reason. It has to do with clearance between the control arm and the brake dust shield, or in some cases oversized brake rotors that do not use the dust shield. The back of the control arm will contact the dust shield and causing the shield to rub on the brake rotor. In some cases the extended ball joint (depending on manufacturer) will not even work with the OEM control arm without modifying the brake shield.

Hope that answers your question, depending on the length of the extended ball joint it may work with our control arm."

Also the control arms are fine to get the desired 4-5 cm track widening - confirmed by Racer X.
