this car had so much potential after seeing the rear wtf are the designer at toyota thinking they never heared the freaking phrase IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT. everything forward of the rear wheels i can deal with but the really fucked up the rear. put the rear of the original or the rear of that gray rendering and boom..winner winner. but they realy scionized the ass end...pitty....thank god this is still a concept, wont be holding my breath...just my opinion.

Yep, I'd still buy it.

Carbon spoiler is yummy.

Edit:

just saw the real, full size photos and holy shit I love it!! I love it more than the original. I'm pretty much sold, assuming the production version looks like this. DO IT TOYOTA!!

The color's super sexy, too.

I liked the first concept better.
This looks "fat".
They messed up the lights (both front and back)
But I like the new splitter and wheels.

We'll see what they actually put in production of both concepts.

Many thanks for the pics. Interesting car, design is way to incoherent. Original was ten times better, the new lines just don't fit. They should have altered the original slightly to fulfill crash-regs. like SHEVON said: IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT !
There are so many nice renderings on the net and Toyota gives us this horror.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

it look cool but not perfect
1st it has ugly front bumper/fog lights
2nd need a smaller front fender and wider rear fender (or at least fender flares like the 05+ STi)
3rd HATE those ricer tail lights (but this can be fixed with red transparent decals)
4th I'll take one without the rear wing/spoiler

anyway, its clear that production version will not be like this one (I hope) as it has too much CF, huge rims, and ect) hopfully the production 86 will look better to me... Now we need spec's

Edit: I see this one has 18 inch rims, which I guess in production version it will be smaller I guess (I'll love it if it came with 16 or maximum 17 inch rims) but still will look ugly with that front fender (I still don't like that front fender, it need a redsign)

Thanks, HachiRoku.

My first changes: Wing goes, that messed up rear diffuser gets fixed, the LEDs are gone, and the grille gets changed to match the subtler pattern on the fender vents. Wheels/tires get widened (215/40R18 front and 225/40R18 rear doesn't do it for me).

Holy shit! I've been lurking for past few days...and was checking the latest posts on my smart phone and when I read that unveiled pics were up, I had to jump out of bed to see them full size.

I must say, I'm impressed. And despite the mixed feelings some of us are having, I'm pretty sure its not a deal breaker just yet...I mean...look at it!

Hachiroku thanks so much for being the first to release this to us all....

Im disappointed with the end result only in comparison to the first 2 concepts having looked perfect.....

The rear end is very BMWish....... Personally its lost alot of its original lines which made it so exciting.....

The front arches r huge and with those massive Mercedes/Holden arch vents they look out of place an hideous.......

Im sure all this will grow on us though...... As always happens..... Very suprised, cant say its what i was expecting.....
